Johnsons Seeds

PLANT HERITAGE SUPPORTS JOHNSONS WORLD BOTANICS

Plant Heritage, the world's leading plant conservation charity, has endorsed Johnsons World Botanics seed  range for the 2013/14 season.  The collection is a selection of premium and often unusual ornamental plants from around the globe which bring extra interest for keen gardeners.  Each packet bears Plant Heritage's logo and the link features strongly on point-of-sale material.

One of the varieties in the range - Lathyrus Pink Pearl - will benefit the charity's Threatened Plants Appeal with 25p from every packet sold  going to help safeguard an irreplaceable gene pool.  For further information log on at www.plantheritage.com  The header board highlights that packets are priced from £2.10.

Johnsons has also increased the number of varieties it will offer in both World Botanics and the complementary World Kitchen vegetable seed ranges as part of its retail offer for the 2013/14 season.  Both are now offered in standard size Johnsons packets, with the ranges increasing from 50 to 66 varieties to reflect strong sales in past seasons.  Their distinctive liveries within the Johnsons offer have been made brighter and clearer for consumers.

World Kitchen has now been improved by being segmented on the stand into four regions, providing a taste of France, Italy, Asia and the Americas.  The carefully selected range appeals not only to enthusiastic vegetable growers, but also to adventurous cooks seeking authentic ingredients to use in their dishes.  The varieties on offer are distinctly different from Johnsons main range to give incremental sales and to benefit from the continuing grow-your-own trend.
