JOHNSONS ADDS JEKKA'S HERB POCKETBOOK TO ITS 2020 COLLECTION

Jekka McVicar's new book ‘A Pocketful of Herbs', published earlier this year, will be available to buy from the Johnsons Jekka's Herbs seeds stand for the 2020 season.

Called a ‘genius little book' by Jamie Oliver, the compact A to Z guide lists over 300 varieties of herbs grown at Jekka's Herb Farm in Bristol. Perfect for using as a reference, Jekka shows how to get the most from herbs, giving invaluable advice on when and where to plant and the best use for herbs in the kitchen.

The book has an RRP of £12.99 and along with a packet of Jekka's Herbs seeds, would make a lovely present for anyone interested in herbs and their uses.

The Johnsons Jekka's Herbs collection is mae up of 47 varieties including well-known classics such as basil and coriander, as well as more unusual herbs such as red orach and hyssop. Prices start from RRP £2.40 and the large packets feature stunning varietal photography from Jekka.

In addition, this coming season Johnsons are offering the chance to win a pair of tickets to a supper club at Jekka's Farm hosted by Jekka herself, by entering the competition highlighted on the Jekka's Herbs stand. Free recipe cards are also once again available for customers to take away from the stand and create delicious dishes, using herbs grown from the collection.
